In this position, he was responsible for investigating the recoverability of subrogation files, negotiating with attorneys, insurance adjusters, and members, and reviewing health plan contracts in relation to state and federal laws.
Continuing his progression in the insurance industry, McQuerry joined Equian in Louisville as a Property & Casualty Claims Analyst. Here, he investigated complex worker’s compensation claims, managing a substantial caseload with efficiency and precision. His ability to communicate effectively with law firms, insurance companies, and other stakeholders ensured that claims were resolved professionally and in a timely manner, reinforcing his reputation as a skilled analyst and negotiator.
Recent Work and Community Involvement
Most recently, McQuerry served with the Commonwealth of Kentucky/Social Security Administration in the Disability Determination Services department. His role involved managing disability claims, determining eligibility for benefits, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
